NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE I 21:00

Report from Eldey: The evening showed immense promise as the activity level was high and the sky was clear from clouds (a rare thing over the last couple of months). We sailed out in freezing cold temperatures and as we sailed out away from the harbour into the darkness the northern lights could already been seen. Very faint slithers at first that got stronger and stronger as the night went on. The sky was on fire at a couple of points where the aurora borealis danced and a variety of colours filled the sky. The top deck of our vessel was filled with people trying to photograph the spectacle, forgetting to just watch and enjoy mother natures spectacular show. What a night to remember.
