NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 22:00

Report from Eldey: Our small group of intrepid northern lights seekers left the harbour of Reykjavik looking for their valued treasure: aurora borealis. We sailed along the harbour of Reykjavik and we stood near Videy island, a strategical point during the icelandic nights to find this incredible phenomena. We hoped for the best on this what seemed to be somewhat cloudy night but even though we wished really hard for the clouds to disperse, as is often the case with the unpredictable Icelandic weather, it didn't happen this night and the northern lights proved once more to be hard to "catch". This is why we gave our guests a complimentary ticket, another chance to come on board for free. At least it was a very smooth ride with a cold but pleasant breeze and "The Beatles" playing in the background.
