Report from Eldey: We expected tonight to have a kp index on 4 which means quite active solar activity, high clouds but no lower or middle clouds. Unfortunately the forecast was not accurate and we had a lot of low clouds above our heads during the tour. The was always some gaps in the west and above Reykjavik but we did not see any green lights. We enjoyed the music, hot chocolate, nice talks and the views on the city by night until it was time to head back to the harbour. We gave complimentary tickets to our passenger to offer them the possibility to come back for a new Northern Light Cruise in the next 2 years.
