Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey and Elding for the 13:00, 14:00, 17:00 and 20:30 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land. If you are prone to seasickness, please consult with our team prior to boarding.

Report from Eldey: We set out of the harbour with the promise of rough seas but were surprised by the good condition on the water at first. Then the wind seemed to pick up quickly and made us ride a bit of an Icelandic roller coaster. After some time we spotted our first white beaked dolphins in the waves and followed these for some time. Then we continued on our way and met another pod of 6 to 7 white beaked dolphins. We saw the animals surface a couple of times but then they vanished in the rough and foamy sea. On our way back we admired a beautiful sunset over Akranes and saw a full rainbow right in front of us for the whole way back and had magical light that painted the fulmars flying over our boat red. Since we only saw the dolphins for such a short time and unfortunately no other cetaceans, complimentary tickets were handed out at the end of the tour. Everyone went to bed sleepy but happy.
