Report from Eldey: Sunday morning started chilly and with lots of birds and beautiful landscapes. Unfortunately as soon as we left protection of mountains and city, cold wind from north hit us with freezing breeze. After about an hour, we spotted a group of 5-6 white-beaked dolphins. Eventually, these fun animals came really close. They seemed to loose interest pretty soon and headed away. We followed them and managed to get a bit closer but then they disappeared. Later we noticed a blow and shining body of surfacing humpback whale. Unfortunately the animal was surfacing very far from our boat, changing direction every time. Despite fact that our passengers enjoyed sailing and scenery we offered them complimentary tickets to try look for whales one more time.

Report from Elding: Oh the weather was very bumpy, but the birds were soaring lovely. As we tried to lay low, let them blow, let them blow, let them blow. We passed the fjord from a fable, and turned so the boat was stable. We were taken with the flow, let them blow, let them blow, let them blow. Underneath some birds so stinky, we found 2 hungry minkes. They didn't wait to say hello, let them blow, let them blow, let them blow. Minkes either side of us, photos were causing a big fuss. Eventually we had to go, so we let them blow, let them blow, and they blowed.

Report from Eldey: Sea conditions started to be a bit better comparing to the the morning and we had quite motivated passengers that were very good to spot the animals during this tour. After around 40 minutes, some passengers spotted their first very stinky minke whale that come up to the surface quite often and very close to our boat. There were at leat 3 minke whales in the area that were following us. We saw bit later a blow of a humpback whale a bit far from us. We tried to get to the place but instead of a humpback we saw around 5 individuals of white beaked dolphins, travelling, bow riding and interacting a lot with the boat. They stayed with us for at least 15 mins and then we needed to head back to Reykjavik.

Report from Elding: the sea conditions improved drastically and we had a marvelous evening at sea with low waves, although there was quite a lot of wind and some light rain at the beginning. It didn't take us too long to find a pod of white beaked dolphins, which seemed to be hunting, as they were changing direction around us very frequently. We hanged around them for a while, with some of them even riding the waves generated by the bow. Afterwards, we spotted a few humpback whales, which were very intent in feeding, taking long deep dives, often showing the fluke. We had about 6-7 of them, at various distance, with one surrounded by a second pod of dolphin and another one that took a fluke dive very close to our ship. Towards the end of the tour the clouds opened up a bit, showing the sun and creating a beautiful play of colors towards the North.
