Today we will not be operating our Premium Whale tours. Our lovely vessel Eldey will do the 09:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey: pretty good weather in the bay today, with just some wind, some waves and some cloud cover. Not the most enjoyable sail but there's definitely worse. The trip started out great with a sighting of an humpback whale going for deep dives once in a while, possibly to search for some food. During one of its surfacing sequences it came very close to the ship, and we could admire well its snout with the characteristic tubercules. On our way to find some other exciting sighting a couple of minke whales made brief appearances. We then found a pod of beautiful white beaked dolphins, which were probably hunting judging by their behavior (deep dives and frequent change of direction) and by the amount of arctic terns feeding in the same place.
