CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00

Report from Eldey: Sea conditions a bit complicated this morning as we had a lot of white caps and a big winds coming from the south which make the visibility more complicated to see the animals. We started to leave the bay and taking a route a bit in the south close to Keflavik and went a little bit further out but not too far as the waves were too big. We sighted some birds such as 2 northern gannets flying around, checking the water probably to find some food. The wind started to be a bit stronger as we turned back to Reykjavik and during our way back we were a bit closer to the coast and did not see any animals either. To give the chance to the passengers to see the animals we decided to give them complementary tickets so they can come back whenever they want for another whale watching tour with Elding.
