Report from Elding: Tonight the forecast wasn't wrong and we did have a clear sky during the tour. Mars was visible and the moon almost full. A beautiful night. Kp index was on 2 so a bit low but we hoped for the best and started taking picture to detect the lights. There was a little bit of green visible on the pictures so we got excited and after a while the northern lights were visible with our naked eyes. There was an arch visible for the rest of the night until the clouds took over the stars. We then decided to head back to Reykavik.
