NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: We were very optimistic this evening as the forecast was showing relatively clear skies and an activity of 3/9. Even in the harbour we could see the stars. Everyone was excited to see them and we were close to have a full boat. Just over 150 passengers joined us this evening, the most we have had in a long time. We first stopped at the Imagine Peace Tower (Art work by Yoko Ono) and talked a little about that and then as it was a calm beautiful evening we headed a little further offshore than we usually do and waited. The moon was very bright this evening and we could see very clearly the planets of Jupiter and Mars and a few constellations but still no green glow. One thing that is very important to be able to see the northern lights is the activity and there was just none, dead during this tour. We offered our passengers complimentary tickets in the hope they could see them another evening. Nonetheless, a great night to be out on the water.
