NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: We sailed out under semi clear skies with a kp index predicted at 2. This is generally considered as low but we have had some really beautiful nights with 'only' a 2. As it is only a forecast you never know what you will end up getting. In standard Icelandic fashion, the weather changed and suddenly we were under a thick cloud. We continued sailing and hoped the wind would move the cloud and it did but only on the journey home. We made a pit-stop at the Imagine Peace Tower and enjoyed the stars that were shining through the gap we wanted in the sky all evening. Sadly there was no auroral activity so we offered complimentary tickets to the passengers to give them a chance to come again.
