Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: There was a meter of swell today and almost absolutely no waves making the tour smooth for us. We received a very light rain in the start to only have sun and clear sky afterwards. Right in the beginning we had 2 harbour porpoises spotted by passengers that made a quick apparition. Then an amazing rainbow appeared on our right side. We did not need a lot of time to find a group of 10-12 white-beaked dolphins. We tried to approach but they seemed a bit elusive so we did not want to take the risk to disturb them and went further out. We saw then another pod of 10-12 white beaked dolphins with a few individuals jumping. They were much friendlier than the first ones, coming bow riding and escorting us for a while. We enjoyed little jumps and young dolphins speeding on our sides. Then we went away trying to find something else. We had a quick sight of a minke whale that disppeared after coming up 2 times. We went back closer to the harbour and found a group, maybe of the same dolphins than before, of 25-30 white beaked dolphins. It was beautiful to see them all synchronized. It was late and we went back to the harbour.
