Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: This morning was absolutely stunning as we sailed out. Very flat seas, barely any wind and beautiful golden light. We did not sail out far before we spotted the first blow of a humpback whale! It was the same individual that we have seen so close to harbour for the last few days. To our surprise it breached very close to us and later did a little pec-slapping! There was another humpback whale near the other whale watching boat, so it seems the bay is still full of food. As we were watching the whale, we also saw some harbour porpoises and harbour seals. We stayed with the humpback whale for a bit and then headed out a bit further to see if there was anything else in the bay. When time ran out we headed back to harbour and saw the humpback whale again, now even closer to the harbour and basking in the sunset.
