Report from Eldey: This windy night started with a faint arch of auroras and clear skies, so we were off to a promising start. The captain sailed us to the sheltered part of the bay so we didn´t notice much of the wind, and anyway we were distracted by the northern lights that kept growing stronger. The arch took on some other shapes and the green grew brighter, and we admired this magical phenomenon throughout the night. Just before returning to Reykjavík we made a short stop by the Imagine Peace Tower on Viðey to admire another beautiful light still with northern lights in the background, and then we went back into the saloons and back home.
