Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: We set off on this cold day very excited about the tour and Christmas in a couple of days. Luckily, there wasn't much wind which meant the tour wasn't as cold as previous tours have been in the last week or two. As we sailed out we got an amazing few of the bay and the peninsulas. The snow covered mountains looked great! Many people shielded inside from the cold enjoying hot chocolates. We continued our search for cetaceans but so far remained unlucky. We did get to see some seabirds near us giving us hope of life under the water as well as seeing it above. As we headed back in we thoroughly searched around the islands close to Reykjavik in the hope of seeing the humpback whale that had been here recently. Unfortunately, we did not find anything therefore all passengers were offered complementary tickets to come back in the future and hopefully see some cetaceans.
