Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey: Gleðileg jól! The conditions for this Christmas Eve´s tour were very wintery: snow was everywhere we looked. Everything was white and pretty. Beside European shags, great cormorants and glaucous gulls we did not see a lot of birds in the bay today. Close to mount Esja our engineer and some passengers spotted some dorsal fins. We tried to look thoroughly in this area to see if we could spot the fins again, but after some time we decided to continue our journey in different places. We explored an area were our captain saw splashes maybe made by dolphins. We looked everywhere and could not find anything so we offered complimentary tickets and went back to the harbour while listening to Christmas music and watching the snow fall over Reykjavík.
