Report from Eldey: Right as we sailed out of the harbour we started seeing an arch of green in the sky. The northern lights were present all around us, in some places weaker and in some places visible to the naked eye. Most of the tour there was several arches towards the north, above Akranes. Later we had an "S" shaped aurora that meander above our heads. The northern lights shape changed throughout the night, and we were able to enjoy the auroras in various strengths during most of the tour so we went back with nice memories (and a little bit cold hands) to Reykjavík harbour.
