Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 09:00 and 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey: We had another great day of sea conditions facing us today. It was very calm and there was little wind meaning it almost felt warm. We sailed out and set out looking for cetaceans once again. After about 30 minutes we saw a pod of harbour porpoises, there were 3-4. Very shortly after Flak the humpback whale joined us! Maybe there was food in the area both species were feeding on. Flak surfaced a few times for us a bit further away. Then they came so close to us again. From the guide box I couldn't even see, that's how close it was. I could see the blows, then on the left of the boat they appeared again. We could see Flak swimming under the water and the massive white pectoral fins our humpback whales have. We then got an amazing view of Flak swimming very close the boat. The remaining surfaces were all a bit further away but this was a really special sighting once again. As we left Flak we then got to see 4-5 grey seals too. This rounded off a really great tour.
