Report from Eldey: There were low clouds and a bit of rain at the start of the tour, but according to the forecast both of those were meant to disappear a bit later on in the night. A few gaps appeared, then more rain came, then the gaps reappeared, and then we had a short hailstorm. After that rollercoaster of weather events, we started seeing more stars above us, but unfortunately the magnetic observatory was also not showing us much activity so we headed back to the harbour. Everyone received a complimentary ticket to come back on another northern lights tour in the next two years.
