Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey: We had wonderful sunlight and almost no wind over the bay today, but some high swells unfortunately caused some seasickness as well. With these conditions, the visibility was very good and we were able to spot the fins of 5 white-beaked dolphins. This was the first time this year that we have seen this species, so everyone was very excited to see these beautiful dolphins that are endemic to the North Atlantic. They seemed to be milling, close to each other and calmly surfacing. We spent some good moments with them, sometimes admiring them from a distance and sometimes from very close as they came towards Eldey. After this beautiful encounter we went back to Reykjavík, lensing on the waves so that those who had been seasick could have a more comfortable way towards land.
