Tonight we are expecting an aurora activity of 5/9, S-E 6 m/s and 6°C. Currently the moon is Waxing Crescent and 42% illuminated. Partly clouded coverage is forecasted in the area.

Report from Hafsulan and Elding: We sailed out hopeful of seeing northern lights tonight. The forecast said the clouds would disperse by 10pm, but we hoped this would happen earlier. This wasn't to be the case. But by just after 10pm we had enough of a gap. We spotted some green appearing on our cameras. Then within minutes the sky lit up and we had some fantastic northern lights. They were bright green and dancing in the sky. After they finished we headed back to the harbour with boats full of very happy passengers.
