NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 22:00

Report from Eldey and Hafsula: What an evening we had tonight! It was off to a great start as even before we set sail we could see the Aurora Borealis. The kp index was predicted to be a 5 of 9 which is a 'minor storm' so very promising for us. There were no clouds in sight, so everything was coming together. We left the harbour and the lights never faded, they stayed with us all evening, sometimes getting brighter and sometimes duller. They were visible in every direction, so you could pick a part of the sky and see these beautiful lights. There were a few moments where we could even see a pink hue amongst the green, and dancing! The northern lights were visible very clearly throughout the whole cruise, even on our way back to harbour. It was a breathtaking and spectacular night!
