NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 2200
Report from Eldey: Within a few minutes of setting sail whilst we could still see the end of the beautiful sunset to the west and we could see some auroras. They were a very pretty green on our cameras but looked like a white mist to the eye. This was how the lights would appear throughout our tour tonight. They kept fading and then coming back often at different intensities. But it was still really good as we could often see this white mist with our naked eye. At one stage we could even see the lights dancing which was a fantastic spectacle. We also got to admire the imagine peace tower. The sky was clear throughout our tour meaning we could look up and see many stars and planets including ursa major (the big dipper/ the plough), orion's belt, Jupiter and Mars.
