CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00

Report from Eldey: We left the harbour with an amazing morning sun on our backs and a smooth breeze on our face. We had a big expectation because the sea presented good conditions by being calm and without any wave. Soon we spotted a few flocks of birds in the distance, a good sign if we want to see a whale or dolphin feeding. After half an hour we spotted our first cetacean, 2 humpback whales that were lunge feeding and another one a bit further away. The amazing part was that we could chose where we wanted to go because of the many blows in the distance (8 to 9). It did the classic fluke dives a lot of times and stayed on the surface logging. We managed to have quite a few good looks at this whale. On the way back, we spotted yet another cetacean, we saw 2 very tight pods of 4-5 harbour porpoises while travelling.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Eldey: We started the tour with a very sunny day and calm sea. We headed off the harbor and after some time we saw a very elusive pod of 4 harbor porpoises. A bit further we spot some white beaked dolphins in the distance. As we got closer we realized there were more than expected and few minutes later we were surrounded by them. Suddenly, a humpback whale appeared close to us and at some point she was in between the numerous dolphins. We even saw it fluke diving!! We spent some time with all of them and realize there were another 2 humpbacks in the area. We saw 3 humpbacks whales and around 100 dolphins in total. It was quite impressive to see all of this animals together in this amazingly calm day.
