Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 09:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land. Unfortunately we had to cancel all of our Premium Whale tours.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00

Report from Eldey: We started the tour under a rainy sky. As we got further, the wind started to hit us from the northwest and the ride started to get a bit rockier. It took us some time to spot any sign of wildlife but finally I saw a blow in the distance! We tried to get closer but the whale was teasing us going from one place to the other. However, we got quite close to it and we could even see it´s fluke once. It was a humpback whale. We wanted to spend more time with it but we were running out of time and as it was quite unpredictable we decided to go back. As the sighting was not good enough (considering what we are used to) we decided to give complimentary tickets to the passengers so they could have a better tour another day.
