Report from Eldey: Tonight we were expecting lights with a Kp 3, in which shows us some activity around. We had a few clouds at the sky, but we still could she large gaps in between them, with many shining stars already. We were ready to leave, and, when I was just heading to the guide box, I looked up and we already had northern lights right above us! The intensity of beautiful green color was coming all the way, crossing the sky, very strong. Right in the beginning, everyone that was inside came out to see and admire it. The lights started fading away as we started sailing out, to get rid of the city lights, but we could still see it, very slightly. Then, we could see it very easily above the mount Esja, coming all the way towards us, and then again on our opposite side, getting stronger in every second. They dance and they change in a matter of seconds, so after a few minutes, the lights started fading away again. What a lovely night to enjoy such a surprising Aurora right in the beginning!
