Report from Eldey: The starry night didn´t fool anyone, we had perfect conditions to spot aurora in the sky. While I was speaking about the crew and safety, it was clear what was shining in the sky, Northern Lights!!! There they were as green as they can be, in a beautiful arch piercing the clear skies. The big dipper played a big part as it was glowing next to these amazing lights. We saw at least 4 arches forming on top of Esja, branching and connecting with new ones. At times the glow was strong enough to film them! On the way back, we passed by the Imagine Peace Tower, since its light beam could be seen going very high into the dark and starry sky. The tour ended still with aurora in the sky, a full 2 hour tour with these fantastic Nordic lights!
