Report from Eldey: With a Kp3 on the forecast we were hoping to get enough clear sky to observe the northern lights tonight. There was a lot of clouds and only a few stars visible. We went near Esja and patiently waited listening rock classics from the 60s drinking wine beer and hot drinks. We hoped for the best but unfortunately no lights appeared. The solar activity stayed low and the clouds thick. We went back to the harbour and gave our passengers complimentary tickets. Hopefully next time we will be luckier!
