Report from Eldey: Before the tour we looked at the different forecasts to see what to expect in the Icelandic sky. One was expecting a clear sky and the other one a fully clouded sky. The Kp index set on 2 we hoped it would be a good clear night with green lights. Unfortunately the sky was overcast, covered with a heavy layer of clouds and no stars were visible during the tour, hence no northern lights either. The sea was calm so we had a pleasant sailing and the wind was not strong so it was nice to be outside, well protected with our red suits. We gave complimentary tickets to our passengers hoping that next time will be luckier!
