Report from Eldey: tonight we were expecting a Kp index of 2 out of 9, more than enough to see the lights in Reykjavik. The forecast also said that we would havesome clouds, but that they would disappear over the night, giving us more clear skies. So we sailed out full of hope, ready to spot the lights! Feeling the very weak breeze on our faces and listening to very good music (aka 80s hits, nice nice), we waited for them. Unfortunately, the clouds didn't move at all. Maybe it was the weak wind, or the forecast was just incorrect. So even if we had some lights above the clouds, we couldn't see anything. So we decided to give out complimentary tickets so the passengers could come again and try to see the lights again!
