Report from Eldey: The sky of Reykjavík was filled with stars and with a kp level of 2 we went in search of aurora. As we set sail outside the harbour, an arch over Esja was too dim to be seen by our eyes. After some 20 minutes, it started to get stronger and soon we had a wonderful arch of Northern Lights over our heads and towards Jupiter which by this time of the year is closer to the line of the sea. This arch was molted into several shapes, danced, and showed other colours apart from green, like purple and even pink!! A rare event that we witnessed together with our lovely passengers. After passing by the Imagine Peace Tower we got back to the harbour with still some lights in the sky.
