NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 2100
Report from Eldey: Tonight it was forecasted to have very clear skies and activity of 3 out of 9 in the Kp index. We didn't have a single cloud during the whole night and no moon, in which gave us a very dark and starry night. It was amazing to stare at the skies at any moment, and we were amazed by it. Right after we left the harbour, we started to see a green line, very weak, towards the sunset. We had Northern lights already! They started to be a bit stronger and everybody went upstairs to check it out. There was also some lights on top of Esja mountain, but only visible with our cameras for the moment. The arch was there during the whole night, sometimes getting a bit stronger, sometimes disappearing for a few minutes. On the way home, we passed by the Imagine Peace Tower in Videy Island, that was on and strong. We took pictures of the beautiful light beam and we could still see through the cameras some green behind it! Enjoying nice music and still looking at this starry sky, we returned to the harbour after seeing we were running out of time.
