CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Hafsulan: We set of in a light drizzle, but were nevertheless excited to head out and spot some whales! Short after, we were rewarded with a large pod of Harbour porpoises, right outside the harbour. We happily watched them swim around and feed for a little while and then we kept on going, encouraged by this early sighting. After travelling on for a bit, we spotted our first minke whale of this morning, This one was quite elusive though, so we moved on rather quickly. A second minke appeared after, and this one stayed near our the boat for a while. It even came up very close a few times so everyone got a really good look at this beautiful animal! We then decided to slowly head back towards the harbour, but not before a third and last minke passed by to tell us goodbye.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 1300
Report from Hafsulan: We set off again with some clouds and rain but still very excited for the afternoon. It was very foggy on the way out but it started to clear at the perfect time, as we reached our more productive areas. We then spotted a very elusive minke whale that only surfaced twice so we carried on. Not too much longer later we came across a lively pod of 6-7 white beaked dolphins. They came right up towards us and we had a great view of them as they started to bowride. It was super cool to see them through the water. They started to then travel fast so we lost them and continued to search for more cetaceans. At this point the wind and swell started to pick up a little bit too. We then saw a big blow, it was from a humpback whale! But just as with the minke it disappeared very quickly so we never saw it again. Now we started to head home but the sightings didn´t stop. Another pod of 5 dolphins now appeared also giving us a great show. Another humpback also surfaced just after we left the dolphins. Again it was very elusive. It did surface multiple times but always after a long dive and much further away so we just kept seeing blows. But overall, the dolphins gave us a great afternoon in the rain.
