CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00

Report from Elding: This morning we sailed out with a lot of expectations to see what we could find in the bay. We experienced a very windy morning but soon enough the sun was out. We first passed by Engey because the last sightings of the last couple of days. We continued our trip and we spotted a lot of birds, a good indicator of food and possible sightings. However, during the trip we received the notice by our captain that he saw a lone harbour porpoise passing by, but we didn't see it again because it was quite elusive. The time was running out and we decided to continue our trip towards to Reykjavik, still hoping to see something. Unfortunately, we weren't able to spot anything else and the other boats as well. So we decided to give out complimentary tickets, so passengers would have the opportunity to come again.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Elding: We sailed out knowing that the rough sea condition restrained us and made us stay in the harbour's bay. As we went through the islands and the numerous nesting birds, we hoped to spot a seen cetacean individual that never showed up. We headed back home giving out complimentary tickets, hoping that the next days will allow us to go further out the bay for new sightings.
