Report from Elding: We searched a new area as were not having much luck everywhere else we went. We headed towards Keflevík and again even extended our tour a little in the hope of showing our passengers some animals. It wasn´t until the last 30 minutes that we found a Minke Whale. It surfaced three times and vanished. We also saw a pod of 3-5 Harbour Porpoises which were 10-20 meters from the boat. Lets hope that after the storm tonight all the animals will be back being more sociable than today.

Report from Hafsúlan: After a difficult morning we were very optimistic for our midday tour and hoped nature changed already. Unfortunately the bay was still empty, we only saw a minke whale that surfaced twice but then it disappeared. We searched again very long but at the end we had no luck and gave out complimentary tickets.

Report from Elding: The weather was lovely this morning albeit a little bit cold, but this cold crisp air is great. We searched the whole bay and even extended our tour somewhat really tring to find some whale, dolphins or/and porpoises. We did hear that another whale watching boat found some white-beaked dolphins and we could see them surfacing fast in our binoculars but once we got close they vanished. It happened again later on in the tour where we saw dolphin splashes very far in the distance but again once we got closer they again vanished. One passenger got to see one Minke Whale once but again only once and then vanished. Have now idea what is going on in the bay today but everything is being very elusive. Its natures but it would be really nice to ask these animals what is going on.

Report from Hafsúlan: Although it was a nice morning with sunshine and a relatively calm see we had no luck on our tour. We searched very long for our whales but our bay was simply empty. At the end of our tour we heard from another boat that they found dolphins but as we came closer to this area they disappeared already and we could not find them anymore. We invited our passengers to another tour and gave out complimentary tickets.
