CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 0900
Report from Eldey: We sailed out in very good conditions. After a while we spotted a blow in the distance and decided to approach. It was a humpback whale that we could spend some time with. It came close and showed us its fluke a few times. When we went further out in the bay we encountered a pod of about 15 feeding white beaked dolphins. Great encounter. Near the dolphins we also saw 2 more humpback whales.

Report from Eldey: The sun started to come out a little bit this afternoon which was a nice surprise. We headed to the same area as on the morning tour. Once we arrived to the hotspot we spotted a blow ahead and one on the left. We headed to the one on the left first but whilst we waited for this humpback to come back up we started to spot minkes around too! In total we saw 7-8 minkes throughout the trip. 3 of these came up really close to us so we had an amazing view. Then the humpback came back up just metres from us twice before fluking. It then dove for a long time again so we headed to that other blow. It was from Davy Jones II! We saw them surface and fluke a lot. Even some white beaked dolphins came over here too. A resting pod of about 5 individuals. Then we headed home and saw blows from another 2 humpbacks as well which was cool!
