CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00

Report from Eldey: The skies were grey this morning and the swell was fairly strong, but that didn't prevent us from being once again excited about sailing out in the bay. We saw a total of 3 humpback whales this morning. As we approached the first blow we spotted in the distance, 2 blows on our right caught our attention as well. After spending som time with the first individual, seeing a couple nice fluke dives, we moved onwards to the nearby duo. We got to see them come very close to the boat, allowing us to see their beautiful pectoral fins shine through the water surface. Speaking of pectoral fins, one of the two treated us to 4 pecs slaps as well! Time does fly however, so eventually we had to start to head back to port after an adventurous morning out at sea.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Eldey: The skies were gray this afternoon, and the swell was fairly strong, but that didn’t stop our excitement for another day of sailing in the bay. During the afternoon trip, we spotted three humpback whales. After 30 minutes of navigating through the mist, we saw the first blow in the distance. As we waited, we were treated to an incredible surprise—a whale breached from the water! It jumped three times before slowing down and resurfacing. As we drew closer, we realized there were actually two humpbacks, moving quickly further into the bay, surfacing regularly. While watching them, we spotted another blow farther away. After spending time with these magnificent creatures, we eventually made our way back to the harbor, thrilled by the day's adventure at sea.
