CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 0900
Report from Eldey: The sun was still rising as we set off this morning but we then got to enjoy a nice sunny tour this morning. There wasn't too much wind either which was nice. After sailing for abut 45 minutes we saw a couple blows a bit further away. It was a pair of humpbacks! One of the individuals was Davy Jones II yet again. We got to see both the whales from very close. One of them seemed to lunge feed at one stage with the other snaking. Then we carried on and saw another pair of humpbacks. These 2 fluked quite a lot more giving us a great look at this special behaviour. They also were very interactive and came super close to us. After a great second sighting we headed home into the sun very happy.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: Our afternoon started with beautiful sunny skies and just a slight breeze. We sailed into the bay towards the area where we spotted some whales during the morning tour. About 45 min later we started to notice some blows in the distance where some other boats where gathering as well. As we got closer we could see 2 humpback whales. We waited to our turn to approach the whales carefully watching them fluke from time to time. They seemed to be traveling slowly further out so we follow them at their pace and they even resurfaced quite close to our boat! After some time we decided to turn around and start our journey back to Reykjavik since we were already pretty far from the harbour.
