• CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Today's whale watching tour from Reykjavík is on schedule! Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!

Report from Eldey: we left the marina with strong winds, but with our hopes high as we had been having very good sightings in the previous days. And our hopes were not disappointed as right next to Videy we found our great whale! It was a humpback whale. It was a very active individual, that spent lots of time on the surface, and rolled and slapped the water repeatedly. Everybody was very excited. We also saw harbour seals, which people loved. We eventually gave the whale space and we went for a tour around the sights of the bay, before returning to port. It was a very successful tour.
