NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: We were very hopeful this evening, with a positive forecast in terms of both minimal cloud cover and good activity. As we left the harbour, we could see plenty of stars which is always a good sign. Once we got further away from the city lights, more clouds were coming in but we could still see a faint green glow of the northern lights even shining through the clouds. The glow was only clear when we were using our phones and cameras though, so we waited in hopes that it would get stronger. We also saw some faint streaks coming out of Esja. Throughout the evening, the streaks stayed in the sky and even stretched through the whole sky but they never really got very bright. We know that Iceland can perform better, so we offered all of our passengers complimentary tickets to come on another northern lights tour for free!
