CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00

Report from Eldey: We headed out this morning under clear skies and bright sun, but the wind was up and there was a bit of swell. Still, everyone was in good spirits, hopeful we’d find something out there. About an hour and a half in, we spotted a humpback whale! It was moving slowly, surfacing a few times and showing its tail as it fluked—such a great sight. We had plenty of time to watch and enjoy before it eventually dove deeper. Then it was time to head back. The ride home was smoother, with the wind behind us and less swell, making for a relaxed end to a great trip.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR l 11:00

Report from Elding: We set off into the bay for our whale-watching tour and immediately started searching for wildlife. We came across many of the bay's inhabittants, including the iconic puffin birds, northern fulmars and various gulls species. As we braved the waves and the choppe sea, we did find a minke whale, which passed right ahead of us. However, this whale seemed to be in a hurry and rapidly dissapeared from our sights. We didn't have the luck of finding any more whales, and as this tour was poorer than the amazing tours that we usually get, we provided new complimentary tickets to all the passngers who wanted to come back on a new tour.
