Report from Eldey: Sailing out tonight, the lack of clouds heightened our spirits and our hope of finding the Northern Lights this evening. The sky was twinkling with light from the stars, and we could watch several shooting ones. To our delight, a faint strip started appearing behind Esja, however it soon faded into the night sky. Turning back, all our patience had paid off as the auroras finally put on a show for us. A long band of green Northern lights started forming and dancing all the way from the city towards Esja. What a marvelous sight to end this cozy evening!
