Report from Eldey: We went out under a clear sky and with a cold breeze from the north. As it got darker the stars emerged and we had a fantastic view of the nights sky. As the first greenish haze appeared low over Akrafjall and Esja, we had to use our cameras to confirm the northern lights. With increasing darkness it got much easier to see the band of green lights reaching across the horizon. We were able to get some nice pictures and enjoyed the clear nights sky.
