Tonight we are expecting an aurora activity of 2/9, N 5 m/s and 1°C. The moon is in Waxing Crescent Phase and 8% illuminated. Clear skies are forecasted in the area.

Report from Elding: Tonight we were expecting an activity of Kp 2 and clear skies. We first started passing by the seaside of Reykjavik while we waited for the lights to come out! We then went closer to Videy island, pointing out the Imagine Peace Tower. A few minutes after that, we spotted something interesting in the sky: there were very faint Northern lights on the top of Esja! They started off a bit shy, but soon we could all see an arch all over our front. They disappear for a while, allowing us to appreciate how many shining stars we had above us. Then, the lights were back, and they only got stronger and stronger! The arch now was thick and very green, seen easily and beautiful with out own eyes only. What a beautiful night it was!
