Tonight we are expecting an aurora activity of 2, E 3m/s and 3°C. The moon is Waxing Gibbous and 98% illuminated. Clear to partially clouded skies is forecasted in the area.

Report from Hafsúlan: This evening, we had partly cloudy skies but they were clear towards north so we headed directly there. We had beautiful views of Esja lit up by the moonlight. However, even though the skies started to clear more and more, we didn't see any auroras. We started our journey back to the harbour, with a stop by the Imagine Peace Tower. Then, we spotted very faint northern lights above the mountains behind us! At first you could only see them with your phone or camera but after a while, we could see the faint green with our eyes as well. As these northern lights were so short-lived and a little faint, we gave our passengers complimentary tickets to come again and hopefully see the lights even stronger!
