NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE| 21:00

Report from Hafsulan: With a Kp index of 6 and completely clear skies, we bundled up, got a hot chocolate, and headed out with high hopes that the auroras would shine brightly tonight. After a quick stop at the Imagine Peace Tower, we headed away from the city lights. After a little while, we spotted some faint northern lights. They remained quite faint to the naked eye but we could see the famous green colours through our phones and cameras. After a while, they unfortunately faded away completely and we started our journey back towards the harbour. But then the lights weren't quite done with us yet! They exploded! We could see green, red and purple all dancing together in a long arc starting from Esja and heading out to sea. We stayed a little later on our tour so we could fully enjoy them before arriving back in the harbour
