NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Hafsúlan: Tonight was a night to remember! As soon as we left the harbour we could see the beginnings of a faint green arch of northern lights stretching across the entire sky. As they were still not too visible to the naked eye, we made a brief stop at the Imagine Peace Tower to admire its light before heading away from the city and into darker seas. The skies were perfectly clear tonight which made it easy for us to see lots of stars but also easy to spot the auroras when they started to get brighter... And brighter! The arch turned into two arches that turned into auroras covering the whole sky! We saw green and purple and even red! They were everywhere! Our passengers were  even treated to an amazing corona that formed directly above our boat and we could see the northern lights dancing all across the sky. Eventually they fizzled out and became faint streaks in the sky again so we headed back to the harbour after the best northern lights tour of the winter so far!
