NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00
Report from Hafsulan: We didn't even have to sail out before we saw the first northern lights. But as we sailed out, there were multiple arches appearing on the nightsky. After a while there were more and more arches appearing over the whole sky and also crossing the lightbeam of the imagine peace tower. When all of a sudden the arches started to dance and became very intense in color. The whole sky was full of green arches here and there. As always, all good things must come to an end, so we had to head back to the harbor and admiring the skyline of Reykjavik. But it was a great tour and a great 50th birthday gift from nature to one of our guests. :)

Few natural phenomena are as mesmerising as the aurora borealis. These shifting curtains of colour sweep across the polar skies, painting them in hues of green, pink, and violet. While their appearance may seem unpredictable, scientists have developed ways to understand when and where they might occur and by studying the activity levels, we can estimate the likelihood of seeing them.
