Today's whale watching tour from Reykjavík are on schedule! Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!

Report from Hafsulan: We sailed out with the first light of day into slightly choppy seas and a decent wind. We got lucky in our search as not too long in, we found our pair of humpback whales again. The individual we call Banana and their friend were still roaming between the islands so we accompanied them a bit on our journey. For a while they travelled more outwards into the bay, going for short dives, more often that not with the flukes nice and high. After a good time, we turned away and searched a bit more, without result. To end the trip we then turned back to these humpbacks as they had seemingly returned to the islands. A few very close surfaces later, we could leave happy and satisfied and return to the harbour!

Report from Hafsulan: We sailed out into Faxafloi Bay with a little choppy sea and winds that were cold. So real icelandic winter weather. Good for us that we didn't have to go far, before we found our 2 Humpback whales, which are in the area since a while. We watched them logging, feeding and traveling. They showed us their beautiful flukes and we could have a nice look on Viðey and the landscape. But as always, all good things must come to an end, so we had to go back to the harbor.
