CLASSIC WHALE TOUR l 13:00
Report from Hafsulan: We had a lovely afternoon out at sea with barely any waves, a sun shining and only a very slight wind blowing. We first encountered a pair of humpback whales as Banana and their friend were still hanging around between the islands right outside the harbour. They were going back and forth in the area, treating us to multiple fluke dives. Eventually, we sailed onwards to find a pod of around 8 white-beaked dolphins. They were incredibly active as they were feeding in the area and some even were curious enough to come and check out our boat! Suddenly, we also spotted a fluke nearby. A third humpback appeared in the same area and after a while, the dolphins made its way over to it! They interacted a bit, seemingly annoying the humpback as it was rolling and slapping its pectoral fins frantically at them! Perhaps somewhat at the coat of the humpback, their interaction did give us quite a show to witness as the dolphins kept chasing the humpback around. Eventually, we did start heading back to the harbour, but we spent our last remaining minute stopping by the 2 humpbacks from the start, ending our tour with two beautiful whales in the sunset.
