Few natural phenomena are as mesmerising as the aurora borealis. These shifting curtains of colour sweep across the polar skies, painting them in hues of green, pink, and violet. While their appearance may seem unpredictable, scientists have developed ways to understand when and where they might occur and by studying the activity levels, we can estimate the likelihood of seeing them.

Report from Elding: Tonight the expected Kp level was a 4, so our expectations were high! There were some clouds tho, but there were some gaps as well, a good sign. The moon was visible as well as jupiter right next to it during the whole tour. Unfortunately, the green lady never came and we handed out complimentary tickets to out dear guests for them to try again on another night. And now I go to sleep, see ya next time! :)
